​Costs depend on services, as described below:

One hour telephone or live consultations cost $120; email consultations cost $60 and tend to be completed within 30 minutes.

Estate plans or trusts or wills are usually charged via flat fee, ranging in price from $350 for a power of attorney, $720 for a simple will, $1,200 for a revocable single living trust, and up to $4,200 for a complete joint estate plan with a trust or as much as $7,000 or more for a charitable remainder trust (advanced estate planning for tax savings).

Estate administration representation is billed hourly and requires a retainer of a minimum $2,000. Estate administration legal fees are normally paid from the estate itself, not by the representative or trustee.

Probate is available in Oregon and requires an initial retainer of $3,000; probate fees ultimately come out of the estate, after completion of probate.

Real estate mortgage negotiation services for Oregon rehab transactions are charged as a percentage of the sale; 1% of a sale between $30,000 - $350,000, .75% of a sale between $350,000 - $600,000, .6% of a sale between $600,000 - $900,000, .5% of a sale between $900,000 - $1,200,000.

Drafting contracts or promissory notes, deeds of trusts, general deeds etc. are billed as flat fees ranging from $350 - $1,500. Full service for a real estate sale (commercial or residential), drafting PSA and Note and Deed of Trust, and acting as escrow, completing recording, full service is a flat fee of $3,200.

SEC Compliance for small real estate lenders is billed hourly at a rate of $380 per hour; simple compliance normally requires a few days for application to the SEC and usually costs between $1,200 - $3,000 per transaction or deal.

Real estate or construction litigation is billed hourly, requiring a retainer of $5,000 and at an hourly rate of $380 per hour.

Divorce drafting, prenups, family law filings where uncontested are charged as flat fees between $500 - $5,000 - depending on the matter and the documents and filing or service requirements.

Demand letters, if simple, are billed at $380 per letter (unless complicated legal issues require significant research).

Personal injury cases are taken on contingency.
